Poppin' Performances ALL DAY LONG

As the afternoon unfolds at Rockin' Poppin' Popcorn Day, we are immensely proud to shine a spotlight on the vibrant artistic heart that beats right here in Marion. It is with sincere pleasure and deep appreciation that we welcome to the stage a collection of remarkable individuals who embody the very essence of our community's creative spirit: Marion's Hometown Talent. These dedicated performers, representing a diverse range of artistic disciplines, have poured their passion, skill, and countless hours of practice into honing their craft. Their presence here today is a testament to the rich cultural tapestry that makes Marion such a special place. Let us all take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate their commitment to the arts, their willingness to share their gifts, and the pride they bring to our hometown.

The Co-Headliners have been announced, and we could not be more excited for the first act. The 122nd Army Band, a distinguished component of the Ohio National Guard, is a versatile and highly regarded musical organization comprised of citizen-soldiers who are also talented musicians hailing from across Ohio and beyond. This award-winning band plays a crucial role in bolstering troop morale and fostering positive relationships between the military and the public. With a diverse repertoire that spans traditional military marches and ceremonies to engaging contemporary and popular music, the 122nd Army Band supports military functions like deployment and homecoming ceremonies, formal events, and troop entertainment. Equally vital is their community outreach, performing in parades, public concerts, and providing musical support for civic events, connecting with audiences of all ages and backgrounds and proudly representing the Ohio National Guard.
